KSP Award 2015 Kembali Digelar, 30 Koperasi Terbaik Siap Bersaing

Jakarta (B2B) - Sekitar 30 nominator koperasi terbaik dari 21 provinsi akan hadir di Jakarta untuk menampilkan keberhasilan mereka menyokong pembangunan nasional, dan Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM RI akan memilih 10 koperasi terbaik yang berhak meraih Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) Award 2015
"Kegiatan ini dimulai sejak awal Oktober lalu dengan menyeleksi KSP yang mendaftar dari 21 provinsi, dan puncak kegiatannya pemberian penghargaan kepada KSP berprestasi dari berbagai kategori, dan berhak meraih KSP Award 2015," kata Deputi Pembiayaan Kemenkop dan UKM, Choirul Djamhari kepada pers di Jakarta, Senin (23/11).
Menurutnya, KSP Award bertujuan meningkatkan motivasi dan kemajuan usaha simpan pinjam (USP) oleh koperasi, meningkatkan kualitas dan kompetensi sesama pelaku jasa keuangan, peningkatan daya saing di tingkat nasional dan internasional.
"Tahun lalu kegiatan ini mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat perkoperasian karena mampu menjadi pendorong pengembangan KSP," kata Choirul saat memaparkan tujuan penyelenggaraan Festival USP dan KSP Award 2015.
Dia menambahkan, kementerian membagi dua klasifikasi peserta, yakni kelompok koperasi yang menjalankan USP sebagai satu-satunya usaha, dan kedua adalah kelompok yang mengelola USP sebagai bagian dari usaha koperasi. Sementara, KSP yang boleh berpartisipasi harus berbadan hukum, memiliki izin usaha, dan dinilai cukup sehat.
Sementara kategori untuk pemilihan KSP terbaik meliputi 10 kategori yakni cepat peningkatan jumlah anggota, peningkatan total aset cepat, kinerja keuangan paling baik, terbaik dalam mengumpulkan modal sendiri, kualitas aktiva produktif terbaik, efisien dalam beroperasi, paling baik dalam manajemen usaha, inovatif mengembangkan layanan kepada anggota, aktif menyelenggarakan pendidikan anggota, dan patuh menyampaikan laporan keuangan.
Choirul meyakini kehadiran KSP selama ini telah menjadi solusi bagi masyarakat yang sulit mengakses perbankan, dan mampu menekan lintah darat yang menjerat rakyat.
"Saat ini dari 203 ribu koperasi di seluruh Indonesia, 110 ribu di antaranya adalah KSP dengan total aset Rp86 triliun dan anggota lebih dari 20 juta orang. Artinya, koperasi memiliki peran yang sangat signifikan dalam mendorong perekonomian nasional," katanya lagi.

According to him, KSP Award aims to increase motivation and progress of savings and loan business by the cooperative, improve the quality and competence of all the players of financial services, increased competitiveness in national and international levels.
"Last year, this event received a positive response, because it can become a driver of development of savings and loan cooperatives," Mr Djamhari said while explained the objectives of 2015 USP Festival and KSP Award.
He added that the ministry divides the two classifications of participants, which is cooperatives group that runs the USP as the only business, and second is the group who manage USP as part of a cooperatives effort. Meanwhile, the KSP is allowed to participate should be a legal entity, having a business license, and was considered quite healthy.
While the categories for the selection of KSP best covering 10 categories of the rapid increase in membership, an increase in total assets, the financial performance of the best, the best in collecting their own capital, productive assets, operates an efficient, business management, develop innovative services to cooperative members, actively conduct education for cooperatives members, and compliant financial reports.
Mr Djamhari believes the KSP has been the solution for people who have difficulty accessing banking, and suppressed the moneylenders who ensnare the people.
"Currently, from 203 thousand cooperatives across Indonesia, 110 thousand of which are the KSP with total assets of 86 trillion rupiah, and its members more than 20 million people. It means, cooperatives has a very significant role in driving the national economy," he said.
