Jakarta (B2B) - Setelah mengumumkan Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (KSAD) yang baru pada Senin (20/5) lalu, hari ini Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono melantik Letnan Jenderal TNI Moeldoko sebagai KSAD pada Rabu sore (22/5) di Istana Negara, Jakarta.
Melalui Keputusan Presiden RI Nomor 24 TNI tahun 2013, Presiden SBY memberhentikan dengan hormat Jenderal TNI Pramono Edhie Wibowo dari jabatan KSAD, dan mengangkat Letjen TNI Moeldoko sebagai penggantinya. Jenderal Pramono Edhie memasuki pasa pensiun. Letjen Moeldoko sebelumnya adalah Wakil KSAD.
Dalam keterangan pers Senin lalu, SBY memberi pesan kepada Letjen TNI Moeldoko agar membangun prajurit TNI-AD yang profesional, capable, senantiasa mengemban tugas negara, dan dekat dengan rakyat.

Through Presidential Decree No. 24 of the TNI in 2013, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to dismiss General Pramono Edhie Wibowo as Army Chief of Staff, and Lt. Gen. Moeldoko raised as his successor. General Pramono Edhie retired, and Lt. Gen. Moeldoko previously was Deputy Chief of Staff.
In a press statement on Monday, the President gave a message to Lt. Gen. Moeldoko that Army soldiers build professional, capable, always the task of the state, and close to the people.
