Jakarta (B2B) - Hasil survei Lingkaran Survei Indonesia (LSI) terbaru menyatakan publik mengharapkan presiden di masa mendatang tidak lagi terlibat menangani urusan partai politik, tapi lebih fokus menangani pemerintahan dan rakyatnya sebagai bentuk loyalitas tunggal presiden kepada rakyat.

Harapan tersebut terkuak dari 76,34% responden yang menyatakan khawatir pada langkah Presiden Soesilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) mengambil alih kepemimpinan di Partai Demokrat melalui jabatan Ketua Majelis Tinggi.

"Dari hasil survei, 76,43 persen masyarakat setuju kalau presiden mendatang sebaiknya melepas jabatan apapun di partai politik," ujar Peneliti Lingkaran Survei Indonesia (LSI), Barkah Patimahu di Jakarta, Minggu (17/2).

Barkah menambahkan, publik juga menginginkan masalah partai politik adalah persoalan internal partai, bukan masalah warga Indonesia. Untuk itu, tidak semestinya presiden terlibat mengurusi masalah di internal partai.

"Publik ingin loyalitas tunggal presiden hanya mengurusi rakyat," ungkap peneliti LSI ini.

Kemelut di Partai Demokrat dan sikap SBY, memicu persepsi di publik bahwa masalah internal partai merupakan masalah bangsa Indonesia. "Itu jelas mengecewakan rakyat."

Survei LSI dilakukan melalui quick poll pada 11 - 14 Februari 2013, dengan metode multistage random sampling, yang melibatkan  1.200 responden menggunakan wawancara dan margin of eror kurang lebih 2,9% yang dilaksanakan di 33 propinsi.
