Jakarta (B2B) - Kepala Polisi Resort Poso, Sulawesi Tengah, Komisaris Besar Eko Santoso mengakui terjadinya aksi penembakan terhadap Kepala Polisi Sektor (Kapolsek) Poso Pesisir Utara, Ajun Komisaris Nicklas Karauwan yang dilakukan oleh orang tidak dikenal. Kapolsek Poso diberondong tembakan di rumah jabatannya di Desa Membuke, Kamis (15/11).
"Kapolsek Poso Pesisir Utara selamat meski diberondong empat kali tembakan. Kapolsek mampu menyelamatkan diri," kata Kombes Eko Santoso ketika dihubungi di Palu, Kamis.
Kapolres Poso menuturkan, peristiwa berlangsung Kamis siang sekitar pukul 12:15 Wita. Saat itu Kapolsek Nicklas akan mengambil kunci sepeda motor di halaman rumahnya. Beberapa saat kemudian terdengar suara tembakan sehingga Nicklas lari ke dalam rumah sambil menunduk untuk mengambil senjata.
"Ada anggota yang sempat membalas tembakan ke arah pelaku, namun pelaku sudah kabur," ujar Eko.
Pelaku yang belum diketahui jumlahnya kabur ke dalam perkebunan milik warga yang kebetulan berada di sekitar rumah jabatan Kapolsek Poso Pesisir Utara. Saat ini polisi telah melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) dan menemukan satu proyektil peluru.
Kapolres Poso mengaku belum mengetahui jenis senjata api yang digunakan oleh para pelaku. "Kita harus selidiki dulu," katanya.

Jakarta (B2B) - Head of Poso Resort Police Station (Central Sulawesi), Senior Commissioner Eko Santoso, admits that the shooting targeting Head of Poso Pesisir Utara Police Station, Adjunct Commissioner Nicklas Karauwan, is committed by unknown person. He is shot frequently at his official residency in Membuke village on Thursday (15/11).
“He is safe though being shot for 4 times. He is safe though,” says the Senior Commissioner when contacted in Palu on Thursday.
He states that the incident happens on Thursday afternoon at around 12.15 AM. At the moment, Nicklas was about to pick his motor key in the court yard. A moment later, there were shots hence Nicklas ran into the house while bending down to take weapon.
“There was an officer who shot in return, but the perpetrator had escaped,” Eko says.
The people, unknown in terms of number, fled to public plantation located around the official residency. Currently the police has investigated the scene and found one bullet.
Eko admits that he has not known yet the type of weapon used by the perpetrators. “We must examine it in the first place,” he says.
