Jakarta (B2B) - Produksi kelapa sawit Indonesia diperkirakan tumbuh maksimal 9% pada 2014, dengan rata-rata produksi 3,6 ton kelapa sawit per hektar saat ini akan tercapai target 30 juta ton.

"Dengan menambah areal dan peningkatan produktivitas maka target produksi tahun ini sekitar 30 juta ton akan tercapai," kata Ketua Umum Dewan Minyak Sawit Indonesia (DMSI), Derom Bangun dalam diskusi di Kementerian Pertanian di Jakarta, Senin (18/2).

Menurutnya, kebijakan pemerintah tentang Bea Keluar (BK) mendorong pertumbuhan produksi kelapa sawit, sehingga dapat menarik lebih banyak investor untuk menanamkan modalnya di komoditas ekspor ini.

"Investor diperkirakan makin melirik industri hilir dan tren ini akan mendongkrak presentase hasil olahan yang saat ini mencapai 40%. Paling tidak kenaikannya bisa sampai 60-70% dalam 3-4 tahun ini," ujar Derom.

Jakarta (B2B) - Indonesia's palm oil production is expected to grow up to 9% in 2014, with an average production of 3.6 tons of palm oil per hectare current will reach the target of 30 million tonnes.

"Through adding acreage and increase productivity, this year's production target of 30 million tons will be achieved," said Chairman of the Indonesian Palm Oil Council (DMSI), Derom Bangun in discussions at the Ministry of Agriculture in Jakarta, Monday (18/2).

He said the government's policy on Export Duty (BK) to encourage the growth of palm oil production, so it can to attract more investors to invest in these commodities.

"Investors are increasingly interested and expected this trend would increase the percentage of processed products, currently at 40%. Least could increase up to 60-70% in the three and four years," said Derom.
