Jakarta (B2B) - Jakarta, ibukota Indonesia tercatat sebagai kota dengan biaya hidup tertinggi yakni Rp7,5 juta per bulan per keluarga, dengan perhitungan untuk rumah tangga dengan anggota keluarga rata-rata berjumlah 4,1 orang, berdasarkan hasil survei biaya hidup di 82 kota oleh Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS).
Sebaliknya, Banyuwangi merupakan kota dengan biaya hidup terendah, yakni Rp3,029 juta per bulan. Angka ini dihitung dengan rata-rata jumlah anggota rumah tangga 3,6 orang.
"Secara nasional, rata-rata biaya hidup sebesar Rp 5,58 juta per bulan," kata Kepala BPS Suryamin di Jakarta, Kamis (2/1).
Suryamin menyebutkan, proporsi biaya hidup makanan dan non-makanan masing-masing sebesar 35,04% dan 64,96%.
Hasil tersebut tak jauh berbeda dibanding hasil survei pada 2007, di mana proporsi biaya hidup makanan dan non-makanan sebesar 36,12% dan 63,88%.
Menurut Suryamin, dibandingkan dengan hasil survei 2007, terjadi penurunan persentase biaya hidup kelompok bahan makanan dari 19,57% menjadi 18,85%.
Biaya kelompok makanan jadi, minuman, rokok, dan tembakau menurun dari 16,55% menjadi 16,19%. Sedangkan biaya perumahan, air, listrik, gas, dan bahan bakar menurun dari 25,41% menjadi 25,37%.

In the opposite, Banyuwangi stands out as the city with the lowest living cost, reaching only Rp3.03 million per month out of a household of 3.6 persons.
"Nationally, the average living cost is Rp5.58 million per month," said Chief of BPS Suryamin in here today.
He said the proportion of food and non-food costs are 35.04 percent and 64.96 percent.
The result was not so much different as that in 2007, where it showed 36.12 percent and 63.88 percent respectively.
Suryamin said that compared to 2007 result, there was a decrease in living cost of food group from 19.57 percent to 18.85 percent.
The cost for food products, beverages, cigarettes and tobaccos has dropped from 16.55 percent to 16.19 percent. Meanwhile, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel cost has dropped from 25.41 percent to 25.37 percent.
