Lhokseumawe, Aceh (B2B) - Presiden RI Joko Widodo menegaskan tidak ada rencana kenaikan tarif listrik untuk industri bahkan kemungkinan pemerintah akan menurunkannya. Presiden menyesalkan adanya pemberitaan yang seolah-olah pemerintah akan menaikkan tarif listrik untuk industri.
"Tarif listrik untuk industri tidak naik bahkan kemungkinan akan turun karena ada efisiensi sekian triliun rupiah," kata Presiden Jokowi ketika meresmikan pengoperasian Terminal Penerimaan dan Regasifikasi oleh PT Perta Arun Gas di Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Senin.
Ia menyebutkan telah meminta kepada pihak terkait agar efisiensi yang berhasil dilakukan diarahkan untuk menurunkan tarif listrik untuk industri.
"Ini bahaya karena pengusaha tidak mau melakukan investasi. Semua industri takut dengan kenaikan tarif listrik. Hal ini agar industri tumbuh sehingga pengangguran dan kemiskinan dapat dikurangi," katanya. (Ant)
Lhokseumawe, Aceh (B2B) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo stated that has no plans to increase the electricity tariff for the industry, but on the contrary, it might even decrease it, stated President Joko Widodo. President has urged the related media to highlight the efficient electricity operations for the industry.
"The electricity tariff for the industry will not be increased, and it might even be cut down as some trillions can be saved by adopting measures to boost efficiency," President Widodo said here on Monday (9/3).
President Widodo arrived in Lhokseumawe to officially inaugurate the operations of the gas receiving and regasification terminal by PT Perta Arun Gas.
During his remarks, the president expressed regret over the news reports spreading rumors that the government was planning to increase the industrial electricity tariff.
"This is dangerous as (because of the news) the business people might not want to invest. As a matter of fact, every industry is afraid of an electricity tariff hike. We want the industry to grow, so that we can reduce unemployment and poverty," he affirmed.
