Jakarta (B2B) - Pemerintah mengajukan alokasi subsidi listrik sebesar Rp87,24 triliun dalam RAPBN-Perubahan 2013. Jumlah itu membengkak hampir Rp9 triliun dari subsidi listrik yang ditetapkan dalam APBN 2013 sebesar Rp78,63 triliun.
Direktur Jenderal Ketenagalistrikan Kementerian Energi Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Jarman berdalih, penambahkan subsidi akibat perubahan asumsi nilai tukar rupiah dan harga minyak mentah. Kenaikan subsidi listrik juga disebabkan bertambahnya kebutuhan listrik.
"Dalam RAPBN-P 2013, penjualan listrik diperkirakan mencapai 187,70 TWh, naik dibanding penjualan listrik dalam APBN 2013 yang sebesar Rp 182,28 Twh," ujar Jarman saat Rapat Dengar Pendapat dengan Komisi VII DPR, Kamis (23/5).
