Jakarta (B2B) - Belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya, dukungan terhadap tokoh tertentu dari partai politik malahan datang dari pendukung parpol lain. Hal itu mencuat pada Joko Widodo yang mendapat dukungan dari lintas partai politik, seperti halnya pemilih Partai Demokrat pada 2009 malah mengalihkan suaranya kepada Joko Widodo yang diusung oleh PDI Perjuangan saat mencalonkan diri sebagai gubernur DKI Jakarta pada 2012.
Dukungan terhadap Joko Widodo, alias Jokowi, kian menguat. Bahkan dukungan tersebut berasal dari pemilih Partai Demokrat apabila Jokowi maju menjadi calon presiden pada 2014. Padahal Partai Demokrat telah mengakomodir pilihan rakyat melalui konvensi partai. Lantas kenapa pemilih Demokrat malah mengalihkan pilihan kepada Jokowi?
Mayoritas publik mengaku tidak tahu tentang Konvensi Calon Presiden Partai Demokrat. Hal itu tergambar dari survei Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Sebanyak 83,1% persen responden mengaku tidak mengetahui ajang penjaringan calon presiden partai SBY itu.
"Karena konvensi Partai Demokrat kurang tenar hanya 16,9 persen publik yang tahu ada konvensi, tapi 83,1 persen mengaku tidak tahu. Calon presidennya pun tidak ada yang kuat untuk memuaskan keinginan publik terhadap sosok ideal seorang calon presiden," kata Ketua Departemen Politik dan Hubungan Internasional CSIS, Philip J Vermonte kepada pers di kantornya di Jakarta, Minggu (1/12).
Paparan hasil survei diungkapkan CSIS dalam jumpa pers 'Survei Nasional CSIS November 2013: Tanda-tanda Berakhirnya Oligarki Elit Partai?'. Survei ini dilakukan lewat wawancara tatap muka di 33 provinsi dan berlangsung dari tanggal 13 hingga 20 November 2013. Ada 1.180 responden yang dilibatkan, dengan margin of error sebesar 2,85 persen dan tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 95 persen.
"Dukungan kepada Jokowi ini lintas partai, belum pernah terjadi (kepada calon-calon presiden) sebelumnya," kata Philip.

The majority of the public did not know about the presidential candidate Democrat Party convention. It was drawn from a survey of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). A total of 83.1% percent of respondents admitted to not knowing the conventions of the political party led by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).
"Because the Democratic convention is not known, and only 16.9 percent of the public know there are conventions, but 83.1 percent said they do not know. Presidential candidate failed to satisfy the public's wishes the ideal figure of a presidential candidate," Philip J Vermonte, chairman of the department of political and international relations CSIS told reporters at his office in Jakarta, Sunday (1/12).
Exposure CSIS survey results disclosed in a press conference 'National Survey of CSIS November 2013: Signs of End of Oligarchy Elite Political Party?'. The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews in 33 provinces and took place on 13 to 20 November 2013. Involves 1,180 respondents, the margin of error of 2.85% and a confidence level of 95%.
"Support to Jokowi cross political party, which had never happened (to the presidential candidates) before," Vermonte said.
