Jakarta (B2B) - Lima perusahaan dari Korea Selatan  menjalin kerjasama dengan usaha kecil mitra OVOP (one village one product), sementara Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) telah mendukung pengembangan 106 produk unggulan sebagai mitra OVOP, yang menargetkan 500 UKM sebagai mitra OVOP di seluruh Indonesia hingga 2020.

Direktur Jenderal Kotra, Song Yoo Wang mengatakan kelima perusahaan mitra OVOP adalah Cheil Jedang Indonesia, Samsung Electronics, KEB Hana Bank, Lotte Mart dan Eagle.

"Kendala utama pengembangan OVOP adalah kualitas produk yang belum merata, sehingga fokus kerjasama diarahkan terlebih dahulu pada penguatan standarisasi OVOP khususnya pada kegiatan produksi, pemasaran dan sumber daya manusia (SDM)," kata Song Yoo Wang usai penandatanganan memoranda kesepahaman (MoU) Cheil Jedang (CJ Group) dengan KSU Jatirogo, Jawa Tengah pada Selasa petang (29/9).

Menurutnya, Kotra tidak akan langsung mendorong kegiatan ekspor, tapi mendukung mekanisasi, pemasaran, peningkatan kualitas produksi. "Terkait target 500 OVOP, Kotra tidak ada target khusus tapi kami berupaya menepati komitmen tersebut hingga 2020."

Deputi Bidang Pengkajian Sumberdaya Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) di Kementerian Koperasi dan UKM, Meliadi Sembiring mengatakan kesuksesan Program OVOP merupakan hasil kemitraan positif pemerintah pusat dan daerah, masyarakat, dan dunia usaha.

"Kami terus mendata setiap OVOP dan memberikan datanya kepada Kotra, kemudian mereka yang memilih, dan perusahaan Korea Selatan mana yang tertarik menjadi mitra," kata Meliadi Sembiring.

Menurutnya, kisah sukses membangun suatu program pengembangan regional dengan pendekatan OVOP di Jepang dan Thailand mengilhami Gerakan OVOP di sejumlah negara, termasuk di Indonesia. Gerakan OVOP dirintis di Oita Perfecture pada 1979 oleh Morihiko Hiramatsu, mantan Menteri Perekonomian, Perdagangan dan Industri dari Jepang.

"Dalam konsep OVOP, masyarakat harus dapat menghasilkan produk terpilih dengan nilai tambah tinggi. Artinya, satu desa menghasilkan satu produk utama yang kompetitif sebagai usaha meningkatkan pendapatan dan standar kehdiupan penduduk di desa tersebut," kata Meliadi.

"The main constraint development of OVOP is a quality product, the main focus on the standardization of the quality of production, marketing and human resources," Song Yoo Wang said after signing memoranda of understanding (MoU) Cheil Jedang (CJ Group) and KSU Jatirogo of Central Java on Tuesday afternoon (29/9).

According to him, Kotra indirectly encourages exports, but to support mechanization, marketing, and improve production quality. "KOTRA no specific target about 500 of OVOP, but we seek to fulfill those commitments until 2020."

Deputy SMEs Resources Assessment at the Cooperative and SMEs Ministrym, Meliadi Sembiring said OVOP program's success is the result of a positive partnership of central and local government, society, and entrepreneurs.

"We continue to assess the potential of OVOP, and provide data to Kotra, then those who voted, and South Korean companies which are interested in becoming a business partner," Mr Sembiring said.

The success story of the development of a regional program to approach the One Village One Product (OVOP) in Japan and Thailand inspire OVOP movement in a number of countries, including Indonesia. This movement was pioneered in Oita Perfecture in 1979 by Morihiko Hiramatsu, former Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.

In the OVOP concept, people should be able to give specific products with high added value. It means, the village can produce competitive products to improve the incomes and living standards its people.
