Jakarta (B2B) - Tingkat kepercayaan publik terhadap moral politisi makin merosot. Hasil jajak pendapat Lingkaran Survei Indonesia (LSI) terhadap komitmen moral politisi mencapai 34,6% pada 2005, hasil survei pada 2009 merosot ke 39,6% dan ketidakpercayaan publik terhadap elit politik makin memuncak menjadi 51,5% pada 2013.

"Kini tingkat ketidakpercayaan publik terhadap komitmen moral para politisi makin memuncak menjadi 51,5%. Artinya, jika dibanding survei delapan tahun lalu, mereka yang tidak percaya dengan komitmen moral politisi meningkat kurang lebih 17%," kata peneliti LSI Ruly Akbar pada paparan hasil survei LSI di Jakarta, Minggu (7/7).

Menurutnya, LSI kembali melakukan survei khusus mengenai moralitas politisi di mata publik dan hasilnya menunjukkan tingkat kepercayaan publik terhadap politisi kian merosot.

Ruly menambahkan, alasan publik tidak mempercayai komitmen moral politisi lantaran sebagian besar kader partai politik tersebut tidak pantas menjadi panutan. Dalam survei yang dilakukan pada 3-5 Juli 2013 disebutkan mayoritas publik yakni sebesar 52,10% menyatakan lebih banyak elite yang tidak bisa dijadikan teladan.

"Publik melihat banyak politisi yang terlibat kasus korupsi dan kasus moral yang membuat publik ragu terhadap komitmen moral politisi itu," ucapnya.
