Jakarta (B2B) - Pemerintah menetapkan 1 April sebagai Hari Marketing Indonesia (Hamari).

Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf) Mari Elka Pangestu di Jakarta, Selasa, meresmikan Hamari bersama para perwakilan asosiasi bisnis di Tanah Air.

"Hamari diharapkan memperkuat kegiatan marketing dan branding yang keberhasilannya melibatkan berbagai unsur industri kreatif seperti periklanan, desain, film, fotografi, seni pertunjukan, musik, TV, radioa dan new media berbasis IT," kata Menparekraf.

Ia berpendapat untuk bisa bersaing di lingkup bisnis internasional, kekuatan sumber daya haruslah diimbangi dengan kemampuan memasarkan atau marketing dan penciptaan brand.

"Sebuah produk yang pas dengan permintaan pasar dan apa lagi jika mempunyai brand, akan dinilai lebih tinggi," katanya.

Jakarta (B2B) - The Indonesian government, on Tuesday, declared April 1 as Indonesian Marketing Day to improve marketing and branding of the countrys products to make them secure a better position in global business competition.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Mari Elka Pangestu launched the Marketing Day, called Hamari by its local acronym, along with representatives from business associations across the country.

"It is hoped that Hamari will strengthen the activities of marketing and branding whose success will also involve various creative industrial elements such as advertising, design, film, photography, performing arts, music, television, radio and IT-based news media," she clarified in her speech.

She explained that the power of resources must be accompanied by marketing capability as well as branding in order to be able to compete in the international market.

"A product that meets market demand and moreover has a brand name will be valued more," she further explained.
