Jakarta (B2B) - Inspektur Jenderal (Pol) Putut Bayuseno ditolak oleh mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Gerakan Rakyat untuk Keadilan (Gerak), dengan menggelar unjuk rasa di depan Markas Besar Polri di Jakarta, Jumat (28/6).
Para pengunjuk rasa dalam orasinya membawa spanduk bertuliskan tuntutan kepada Kepala Polri Jenderal Timur Pradopo untuk mencopot Irjen Putut Bayuseno dari jabatannya sebagai Kepala Polda Metro Jaya dan menolak pencalonannya sebagai Kepala Polri menggantikan Timur Pradopo.
Kordinator Aksi Gerak, Teddy mengatakan mereka menolak cara Irjen Putut Bayuseno mengatasi aksi demo penolakan kenaikan BBM subsidi dengan cara represif , karena perintahnya sebagai Kepala Polda Metro Jaya mencederai demokrasi.
"Tindakan represif Putut Bayuseno mengatasi demo kenaikan BBM telah mencederai kehidupan demokrasi. Kami minta Putut dicopot dari jabatannya," kata Teddy yang memimpin aksi rekan-rekannya dari Gerak.
Gerak menuding berbagai jabatan strategis yang diembannya selama ini terkait kedekatan Putut dengan Cikeas. Pasalnya, Putut pernah menjabat sebagai ajudan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) pada 2004-2009. Selanjutnya menjabat Kepala Polda Banten, Kepala Polda Jawa Barat, Wakil Kepala Polda Metro Jaya dan kini menjabat Kepala Polda Metro Jaya.
"Seluruh jabatan strategis tersebut diperoleh dalam waktu singkat dengan target mengamankan Cikeas pada 2014," ungkap Teddy.
"Kami menolak Irjen Putut Bayuseno menjadi salah satu kandidat Kapolri, kami menginginkan komando kepolisian yang benar-benar dipegang oleh perwira polisi yang memiliki prestasi serta dengan masyarakat Indonesia, bukan kedekatan dengan penguasa, Kompolnas harus membatalkan itu," tandasnya.
