Jakarta (B2B) - Kalangan DPR menyambut baik langkah Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) dengan membentuk unit kerja di bawah Kementerian Energi Sumber Daya dan Mineral (ESDM), untuk mengambil alih tugas dan fungsi minyak dan gas sebagai langkah tepat dalam masa transisi ini.
"Kami menyambut baik langkah cepat Presiden SBY dalam mengantisipasi terganggunya produksi migas nasional pada 75 wilayah kerja berproduksi dari total 303 kontrak kerjasama hulu Migas, baik dengan swasta nasional, asing, BUMD dan BUMN yang nilainya sekitar Rp300 triliun per tahun," kata Anggota Komisi VII DPR, Teuku Riefky ketika dihubungi di Jakarta, Jumat (16/11).
Presiden SBY menerbitkan Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) No. 95/2012 tentang Pengalihan dan Pelaksanaan Tugas dan Fungsi Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (migas) untuk memberikan kepastian hukum bagi para pelaku usaha migas.
"Peraturan Presiden untuk mencegah kevakuman aturan, sekaligus memberikan kepastian bagi usaha hulu minyak dan gas bumi, telah saya terbitkan," kata Presiden Yudhoyono di Kantor Presiden, Jakarta, Rabu (14/11/2012).
Wakil Ketua Fraksi Partai Demokrat tersebut menambahkan, walaupun saat ini ada RUU Migas yang merupakan inisiatif dari DPR, sikap proaktif pemerintah dalam memberikan masukan akan mempengaruhi kecepatan pembahasan revisi UU nomor 22 tahun 2001 tentang Migas tersebut yang beberapa pasalnya telah dibatalkan oleh MK karena dianggap bertentangan dengan UUD 1945.

Jakarta (B2B) - DPR (House of Representatives) gladly welcomes President SBY’s measure to set up working unit under Ministry of Energy, Resources, and Mineral to take over the duties and functions on oil and gas as a correct thing to do in the transition period.
“We welcome the President’s immediate action in anticipating the delay in national oil and gas production in 75 areas out of the total 303 working contracts of oil and gas, either with national private company, foreign company, local and national state company which are worth around Rp 300 trillion annually,” said member of Commission VII of DPR, Teuku Riefky, when contacted in Jakarta on Friday (16/11).
President SBY issues Presidential Decree No 95/2012 on Transfer and Implementation of Duty and Function of Oil and Gas Exploration Activity to provide legal certainty for entrepreneurs in oil and gas.
“The Presidential Decree is to prevent vacuum of law and to provide certainty for oil and gas exploration activity, I have launched it,” said the President in the Palace, in Jakarta on Wednesday (14/11).
Deputy Chair of Democrat Faction also added that though at present there is Draft of Regulation on Oil and Gas initiated by DPR, the government’s pro active attitude in giving opinion will affect on the immediacy of discussion on revision of Law No 22 year 2001 on oil and gas whose several articles have been annulled by Constitutional Court because they are considered to go against the Constitution.
