Jakarta (B2B) - Komisi Kepolisian Nasional (Kompolnas) melaporkan masalah indikasi rekening gendut tiga calon Kepala Kepolisian RI kepada Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). Kompolnas bertindak mewakili publik untuk meminta klarifikasi kepada tiga jenderal polisi sebagai calon pengganti Kapolri Jenderal Timur Pradopo.
"Ada indikasi tiga orang dari tujuh orang jenderal polisi pemilik rekening gendut, kami masukkan dalam laporan kepada presiden," kata Komisioner Kompolnas, Adrianus Meliala di KPK Jakarta, Senin (9/9).
Ketika ditanya siapa saja jenderal polisi yang dilaporkan kepada Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), Adrianus menolak untuk mengungkap nama-nama tersebut.
Menurut Adrianus, Kompolnas mengetahui permasalahan rekening gendut itu berdasarkan laporan dari masyarakat. Dari situ, kemudian Kompolnas meneruskan kepada Presiden SBY.
Adrianus menambahkan, Kompolnas mewakili kepentingan publik, telah melakukan konfirmasi kepada para jenderal polisi itu kenapa mereka bisa memiliki uang berlimpah di bank.
"Kami sebutkan secara fair saat kami bertemu dengan yang bersangkutan (tiga jenderal polisi)," katanya.
Meski demikian Adrianus berharap Presiden SBY bisa segera menentukan nama calon Kapolri untuk kemudian diserahkan kepada Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat supaya dilakukan uji kepatutan dan kelayakan. Kapolri saat ini, Timur Pradopo, akan memasuki masa pensiun pada Januari 2014.

"There are indications that three of the seven police generals owner abundant balance in the bank, which we report to the president," said Commissioner of Police Commission, Adrianus Meliala in KPK Jakarta, Monday (9/9).
When asked a police general who reported to the President, Adrian refused to revealed the names.
According to Adrian, the National Police Commission know the problem is based on reports from the public, then the National Police Commission report to the President.
Adrianus added, the National Police Commission representing the public interest, has confirmed to the police general was why they could have plenty of money in the bank.
"We mentioned it fair when we meet with the relevant (three general of police)," he said.
However Adrianus hope the President can immediately determine the name of the candidate, and the follow up to the Parliament to conduct fit and proper tests. The current National Police Chief, Timur Pradopo, will retire in January 2014.
