Jakarta (B2B) - Partai Demokrat memilih walk out saat voting RUU Pilkada tadi malam.
Apalagi banyak partai begitu. Jadi itu tidak simetris," katanya.
Jakarta (B2B) - Indonesian vice president (VP) incoming, Jusuf Kalla (JK) was disappointed with Democratic Party. He was not sure about Democratic Party (PD) involvement in the new cabinet of Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo. The attitude of the political party in election bill was out of public expectation to maintain the direct election.
Democratic Party cadres at the House of Representatives decided to walk out on Thursday night of the plenary meeting on the regional elections (Pilkada) bill.
"About the issue of Democratic Party joining the coalition, we will see according to current condition," Kalla said on Friday in Jakarta.
Kalla was reluctant to argue that Democratic Party maneuver was a political revenge. According to him, public could see it. He was disappointed to see the lack of Democratic Party contribution in the plenary meeting.
The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) is still opening opportunities to other parties, which want to join the coalition in Jokowi's cabinet. According to him, local head election through the Regional House of Representatives is different from the future government tasks.
