Jakarta (B2B) - Presiden RI Joko Widodi hingga kini tidak memiliki rencana bertemu pimpinan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR). Menyikapi keinginan DPR untuk mendengarkan penjelasan pemerintah soal pengajuan nama Badrodin Haiti sebagai calon Kapolri, dan batal melantik Budi Gunawan dengan mengutus Menkopolhukam Tedjo Edhy Purdjiatno.
"Segala pertanyaan dapat disampaikan kepda Menkopolhukam yang diutus Presiden ke DPR," kata Sekretaris Kabinet Andi Widjojanto di Jakarta, Rabu.
Dia meminta masyarakat sabar menunggu hasil pembicaraan antara para menteri dengan pimpinan DPR.
Hingga saat ini, DPR belum menjadwalkan langkah fit and proper test kepada Komjen Badrodin Haiti yang dicalonkan Presiden sebagai kandidat Kapolri.
Seperti diketahui, DPR meminta penjelasan resmi dari pemerintah perihal pencalonan Badrodin Haiti sebagai calon Kapolri. Padahal sebelumnya, DPR sudah menyetujui pencalonan Budi Gunawan sebagai Kapolri. Tetapi ujungnya, Jokowi memilih membatalkan pelantikan Budi Gunawan karena pertimbangan untuk menghindari gejolak politik dan sosial.
Jokowi masih berkoordinasi dengan Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) mengenai hal tersebut. Namun demikian, sejauh ini keputusannya Jokowi akan mengutus beberapa menterinya untuk bertemu pimpinan DPR.
Adapun menteri yang akan diutus Jokowi antara lain Menteri Hukum dan HAM, serta Menteri koordinator bidang Politik Hukum dan Keamanan (Menkopolhukam). "Nanti hasil pertemuannya, dilaporkan kepada Presiden," ujar Andi, Rabu (1/4) di Istana Negara.
Nah, apakah Jokowi perlu hadir akan tergantung pertemuan tersebut juga. Mengenai apa saja, hal yang akan disampaikan pemerintah, Andi enggan menjelaskannya. (Ant)
Jakarta (B2B) - The Indonesian President Joko Widodo sent Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister Tedjo Edhy Purdijatno and other ministers to explain about Commissioner General Badrodin Haiti's nomination as National Police chief to the House of Representatives, known as the DPR.
"Any questions can be posed to the coordinating political, legal and security affairs minister who is sent there," Cabinet Secretary Andi Widjajanto remarked here on Wednesday.
He appealed to the people to be patient while awaiting the results of the talks between the ministers and House leaders.
Until now, the DPR has not scheduled a fit and proper test of Commissioner General Badrodin Haiti as the national police chief candidate.
In fact, the DPR has approved Commissioner General Budi Gunawan as the Indonesian Police chief to replace General Sutarman.
"It takes a long elaboration because we need the support of the DPR," he noted.
President Jokowi had earlier decided to propose Commissioner General Badrodin Haiti as the new National Police (Polri) chief candidate to replace Commissioner General Budi Gunawan whose nomination got engulfed in controversies.
"To calm down the situation and to fulfill the need for a definitive Polri chief soon, we propose Commissioner General Badrodin Haiti to the DPR to be approved as the national police chief," the president affirmed.
