Jakarta (B2B) - Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono memimpin rapat konsultasi tentang Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT) dengan para pimpinan lembaga negara di Istana Negara, Rabu pagi.
Pertemuan dimulai pukul 10: WIB untuk membahas masalah DPT dalam kaitannya pemilihan umum (Pemilu) tahun depan.
"Membahas tentang DPT dan dihadiri oleh Menteri Dalam Negeri Gamawan Fauzi dan Ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Ketua Husni Kamil Manik," kata Ketua DPR Marzuki Alie.
Pejabat lain yang hadir pada pertemuan tersebut, selain Marzuki Alie, adalah Ketua Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat (MPR) Siddaharta Danusubroto, Ketua Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan (BPK) Hadi Purnomo, Ketua Komisi Yudisial (MK) Suparman, Ketua Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) Hamdan Zoelva, Menteri Koordinator Bidang Politik, Hukum dan Keamanan Djoko Suyanto, Menteri Koordinator Kesejahteraan Rakyat Agung Laksono dan Menteri / Sekretaris Negara Sudi Silalahi.
Marzuki berharap pertemuan konsultasi akan membantu menemukan solusi untuk masalah kekisruhan DPT.
Indonesia berencana menggelar pemilu legislatif nasional, provinsi dan kabupaten pada April 2014, yang kemudian diikuti oleh pemilihan presiden pada tanggal 9 Juli 2014.
KPU baru-baru ini mengumumkan bahwa jumlah pemilih yang berhak dalam DPT adalah 186.612.255, yakni 93.439.610 pria dan 93.172.645 perempuan. Selain ini, ada 2.010.280 pemilih di 130 negara, yang akan memilih di 873 lokasi pemungutan suara (TPS).
Ketua KPU Husni Kamil Manik mencatat bahwa KPU telah mempertimbangkan semua masukan sebelum mengumumkan DPT.
Namun, ada sekitar 10,4 juta pemilih disebut-sebut "bermasalah" karena mereka tidak memiliki Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK).
Dia berharap untuk segera mengumpulkan data mengenai 10,4 juta pemilih bermasalah. Husni menambahkan bahwa angka ini adalah nyata dan bahwa hak-hak politik pemilih tersebut harus terjamin.
Komisioner KPU, Sigit Pamungkas mengatakan bahwa KPU akan berkoordinasi dengan Departemen Dalam Negeri untuk menyelesaikan masalah pemilih tanpa NIK.

Other officials present at the meeting including Marzuki Alie, were Chairman of the Peoples Consultative Assembly (MPR) Siddaharta Danusubroto, Chairman of the State Audit Agency (BPK) Hadi Purnomo, Chairman of the Judicial Commission (MK) Suparman, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Hamdan Zoelva, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare Agung Laksono and the Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi.
Marzuki said he hoped that the consultation meeting would help find a solution for the DPTs problems.
Indonesia plans to hold national, provincial and district legislative elections in April 2014, which will be followed by the presidential election on July 9, 2014.

KPU Chairman Husni Kamil Manik noted that the KPU had considered all inputs before declaring the DPT.

He hoped to quickly put together the data regarding these 10.4 million problematic voters. Husni added that this number was real and that the political rights of these voters must be assured.
Commissioner Sigit Pamungkas said the KPU will coordinate with the Ministry of Home Affairs to solve the problem of the voters without NIKs.
